MaasaiMama

MaasaiMama is a creative jewellery project and business run by Maasai women. The project aims to support, educate and provide women with the necessary skills to establish sustainable jewellery workshops throughout Tanzania. The workshops will empower women and benefit the whole community whilst also protecting Maasai villages from exploitation and dependency on tourist trade. Jewellery will be sold online and in retail outlets globally, thus enabling the women to support their families and develop their communities through fairly paid sustainable employment.
